Three and one in the divisional playoffs

Conference Championship Weekend’s Will-They-Make-It Playoffs

New England over Pittsburgh – The Steelers are good, they are at home and they aren’t saddled with O’Donnell, Brister or other flavored clowns at quarterback. Despite that, Big Ben is no Tom Brady, not yet anyway. The Patriots always seem to win these games. Bad weather, cold and snow won’t hurt the Pats any more than the Steelers. Expect a lot of 3-and-out drives and a defensive touchdown or play might be the turning factor. Very low scoring contest and the Patriots take it on the road for another Super Bowl visit, 16-13.

Philadelphia over Atlanta – The Eagles can run just like the Falcons, only from the backs and not the QB spot. At home the defense is better and, despite wind and cold, I’ll take Philly in a low-scoring, defensive struggle 17-13.

There you be – 2 games. Hopefully 2 winners
